The average cost in our region ranges from $10,000 to $15,000, but this can vary depending on the size and scope of the project.

What should I do in case of an emergency roof leak?

In an emergency, call Black Bear Roofing for assistance.

What is the difference between re-roofing and roof replacement?

We recommend roof replacement over reroofing (putting new shingles on top of old ones), as reroofing shortens the life of the new shingles and adds unnecessary weight to your roof framing.

What are the most common causes of roof leaks?

Any penetration through the roof, such as pipe boots, chimneys, or skylights, is a potential leak hazard. We apply Ice and Water membranes around these areas for extra protection.

How do weather conditions affect roofing materials and installations?

Severe weather, like wind and hail, can knock granules loose from shingles, exposing the asphalt to UV rays, which eventually leads to leaks.

What warranties do you offer on roofing materials and workmanship?

We offer extended warranties through our manufacturer, depending on the chosen roofing material.

Is it possible to install a new roof during winter or other extreme weather conditions?

A new roof can be installed during winter. Black Bear Roofing follows manufacturers’ winter installation instructions for extremely cold weather.

Are there any additional costs associated with seasonal roof installations?
